We are all a mix of different people.

We all have a print of different people in us. A part of people we love are mostly left with us, and sometimes becomes a part of us. We find ourselves subconsciously behaving like them or acting out certain traits that they posses.

my dad that made me love Amala, Ore that made me love shawarma, Tosin that made me love the Holy Spirit, Poku that made me feel comfortable, Julius that made me love giving, Odion that made me admire the calm demeanor, Taiwo that made me love being outspoken, Modupe that me learn how to tolerate others, Toyosi that made me love being meek and quiet, Temi that made me love playing, David that made me love being selfless, and so many other people I can’t remember that contributed to my being as an individual.

I might not have necessarily gotten to the peak of these natures, values, traits and characters but even a part of them that I hung unto, makes me a part of them too. On most days, I behave in a certain manner only to remember that Tosin would have acted in this manner as well. “This would have been Poku’s reaction to this comment”

A build up of an individual is teeny weeny parts of other individuals that must have been present in their life at certain point in life. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness that we all, are parts of what makes other people.
