Doubt

I decided to take the bold step and write something down, considering how long it has been since I had to write about anything. I’m currently writing from my lavatory at home( lol, taking a bold step at an unexpected moment)

I believe there is something called a writer’s mood and one thing has hindered me from writing these past few months ; Doubt.

As a young girl in her 20s, one would expect you to be loaded with vigor and resilience to overthrow and overcome anything that comes your way. That has not been the case with me: I’ve been faced with doubts consistently. I’ve doubted my ability to become a better writer, or a better student and even doubted the promises of the Lord over my life.

Doubt is one of my biggest deterrents and this year, I promised myself I was going to do better by me. Thrive to put effort into anything I’d be doing, not in comparison or uncertainty but believing the Lord and putting in the work because;” The Lord makes everything beautiful in its own time”
